I build the editorial and communications structures that help serious work travel further.

That can mean leading a newsroom, reshaping a public voice, rebuilding a newsletter, managing contributors, developing an impact system, working with designers on a new identity, or helping leadership understand why the current story no longer fits the work. My background spans journalism, feminist advocacy, press freedom, philanthropy, digital communities, and international civil society.

I am drawn to organizations with substance: places doing difficult, political, necessary work that deserves to be understood beyond the people already paying attention. My role is to make that possible — through sharper language, stronger formats, better systems, thoughtful team leadership, and a clear sense of what the work is trying to change.

IJSC: Strategic Comms & Fundraising

Support strategic planning, grant writing, and develop reports that communicate the organization’s impact. This includes supporting IJSC’s three-year strategic roadmap, developing fundraising materials and concept notes, and managing initiatives like a multi-country project, commissioned by TGEU, investigating how openly trans content creators across Europe are affected by hate speech.

UNDP: Rethinking Donor Engagement

Led the design and facilitation of a participatory engagement model that reimagined how donors connect with grassroots actors. By mobilizing networked youth and convening public authorities, I helped replace traditional top-down approaches with trust-based, collaborative frameworks. The work contributed to a broader shift in donor strategy, recognizing community-led insight as essential to long-term impact.

oD: Comms for Accountability

Led a visual rebrand of flagship feminist projects, expanding reach and deepening engagement across movements, donors, and global audiences. I introduced multimedia formats, including data visualizations, and developed storytelling tools that helped reposition feminist investigations as politically sharp, widely adaptable, and globally resonant.

Edgeryders: Policy Through Participation

Directed strategic storytelling and stakeholder outreach for major EU-funded projects, including NGI Forward and TREASURE. I conducted expert interviews and developed narratives that translated grassroots insight into policy-relevant outputs. My work helped ensure that digital futures and circular economy strategies reflected real-world concerns, not just institutional priorities, influencing thinking on the EU’s AI Act and sustainable innovation.

Kvinna till Kvinna: Elevating Regional Feminist Voices

When Motherhood is Holy But Giving Birth is Hell - INGE SNIP.png

For Kvinna till Kvinna’s 25-year anniversary in the South Caucasus, I researched and authored a flagship report documenting the work of women’s rights defenders in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The project required culturally sensitive interviews and regional knowledge, resulting in a narrative product that celebrated grassroots leadership while helping shape donor understanding and future support strategies.

World Resources Institute: Storytelling for Global Climate Impact

Commissioned by Global Forest Watch, I authored human-centered profiles spotlighting local actors using forest monitoring tools to fight deforestation and climate injustice. Collaborating with scientists and regional partners, I translated complex environmental data into accessible, story-driven narratives, like the work of Vinicius Silgueiro and Instituto Centro de Vida, who trained prosecutors in Brazil’s Mato Grosso to track and prosecute illegal deforestation.
